Buying Used Cranes:
- The Alliance Group will find a
broker with a suitable crane in stock or on listing.

Get a
compliant inspection by an approved vendor.

Purchasing a used crane can be wise for:
- High Capacity (20 tons and up)
- Rarely used or standby service
- Class D, E, F, or Mill Duty*
- Specialty Applications

This 35 ton hoist has not been used,
but has been in storage since 2000. It's a Class-D* hoist
and is quite suitable for installation on an older crane |

Selling Used Cranes:
- The
Alliance Group will provide new crane
clients with a
offer from an approved used equipment broker if you
request one- The Alliance Group does not buy used
cranes.

- Above 20, if not 50 tons rated capacity
- Class D, E, F,
or mill duty
- hardly
used or standby service
- DC-powered

Terms of Used Crane Sales:
- Is the price "in air", "on trucks", or "on ground"?

Is the crane of the same span, or the hoist of the same
girder gauge as the one you intend to replace?

Do you have proposals to cover the gap between seller or
buyers' commercial or technical terms and your terms (IE loading on trucks,
installing)
